WE PROVIDE SERVICE THAT IS EXPERIENCED, PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONALIZED
One thing that distinguishes our office and makes it stand out from others is the fact that Dr. Zazulak is the sole physician and provider. Most other offices employ multiple physicians and multiple optometrists, and often PA’s, NP’s and other physician extenders. This has the potential to lead to disjointed care and patient apprehension, and this can adversely affect the quality and consistency of your care.
In our office you can be sure that Dr. Zazulak himself will be responsible for ALL your eye care needs whether it involves doing your exam, diagnosing your condition, explaining the findings, performing the surgery, or doing your postop care. We believe this allows us to develop a deeper and more meaningful doctor-patient relationship, and we take great pride in doing so. Many patients find it reassuring to know that the doctor they know and trust will personally provide for all their needs, on every visit, rather than some unfamiliar “associate” or “ancillary provider” that varies from visit to visit. You get to know him, and he gets to know you.
REFERRALS
Entrusting us with your vision and referring others to our care are the highest compliments we can receive. It is truly an honor and privilege for us to provide your eye care.
AN EXTRA MEASURE OF CARE
— Retinal Imaging System: Our office has a state of the art digital imaging system which allows us to carefully evaluate the retina and the circulation in the back of the eye, and the optic nerve. Angiography can be done right in the office and high quality digital pictures can be instantly created and immediately demonstrated to our patients. This way Dr. Zazulak can show our patients (and their families when authorized to do so) precisely what the study revealed and explain what treatments, when appropriate, are advisable.
— Contact Lenses: Our doctor not only performs complete eye exams, but draws on years of experience to bring you the latest contact lens technology. Our goal is to fit you with the lens that best suits your needs. This may be a gas permeable or soft lens, a daily wear or disposable lens, a single vision or multifocal lens. We set up one-on-one training sessions to teach novices how to safely and successfully use contacts, and our success rate is quite high.
—Visual Field Testing: We have a computerized visual field tester that is used to carefully assess your peripheral vision, and this is helpful in diagnosing and managing glaucoma and other medical conditions. The test can also be used in patients with droopy eyelids, and can often prove to insurance companies that they should not consider surgical repairs that we do for droopy lids to be considered strictly cosmetic, but instead medically necessary, at least in part.
